Overview of Services
You.cept is an online marketplace that connects individuals (“Users”) seeking expert advice, guidance, or coaching (“Sessions”) with knowledgeable professionals (“Experts” or “Coaches”). The Platform facilitates communication, booking, and payment between Users and Coaches but does not provide the coaching or advice directly.
Eligibility
To use You.cept, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Create an account with accurate and complete information.
- Not have been previously banned from using the Platform.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
Account Registration & Security
- Users and Coaches must register for an account to access services.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to notify You.cept immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- You may not transfer or share your account with anyone else.
Use of the Platform
You agree to use You.cept only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or Coaches.
- Attempt to circumvent the Platform’s fee structure or engage in off-platform transactions.
- Share confidential information or content that you do not have the right to disclose.
Booking & Payment
Booking Sessions
- Users can browse available Coaches and request a Session.
- Sessions must be booked through the Platform.
- Booking details, including fees and session length, will be outlined at the time of booking.
Payment
- Payments are processed through Stripe (Third-Party Payment Gateway).
- Users must provide a valid payment method when booking a Session.
- Payment is required upfront to confirm a Session.
Fees
- The Platform charges a service fee for facilitating the booking and payment process:
Coaches Service Fee: 20%
Users: 3%
- Users can browse available Coaches and request a Session.
- Sessions must be booked through the Platform.
- Booking details, including fees and session length, will be outlined at the time of booking.

Cancellations & Refunds
User Cancellations
- Users may cancel a Session within 24 hours after booking for a full refund.
- Cancellations made after 24 hours will be eligible for a 70% refund (20% goes to the Coach, 10% to You.cept).
- Users may reschedule ONCE free of charge.
Coach Cancellations
- If a Coach cancels a Session, the User will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
- Possible incurred platform costs will be charged to the Coach.
Refund Policy
- Refunds are subject to Platform review and will be issued only under specific circumstances, such as:
- The Session did not take place due to a technical issue.
- The Coach failed to attend the Session.
Conduct Guidelines
User Conduct
- Users must:
- Treat Coaches and other Users with respect and professionalism.
- Show up on time for scheduled Sessions.
- Provide accurate and relevant information during Sessions.
Coach Conduct
- Coaches must:
- Provide accurate information about their qualifications and experience.
- Deliver Sessions professionally and punctually.
- Comply with all applicable laws and ethical guidelines in their field.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of You.cept or its licensors. Users and Coaches retain ownership of any content shared during a Session but grant You.cept a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use such content for the purpose of providing the Services.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
No Guarantee of Results
- You.cept does not guarantee specific outcomes from coaching or consulting Sessions.
Platform Availability
- We strive to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, You.cept is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Dispute Resolution
Internal Resolution
- Users and Coaches are encouraged to resolve disputes directly. If unresolved, You.cept may mediate.
Binding Arbitration
- Any disputes that cannot be resolved internally will be submitted to binding arbitration in Switzerland.
Termination
Termination by Users
- Users may terminate their account by contacting customer support.
Termination by You.cept
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms or engaging in harmful behavior.

Changes to These Terms
